I kept trying to solve this algebraically. I made h=t-6 and I kept plugging it in all over the place to no avail. This problem wasn’t obvious enough for me to know to plug in here.
Hopefully next time you see something like this, you’ll remember that it’s a classic plug in.
The algebra:
g = (t – 6) – 5
g = t – 11
g = s – 11 (because s = t)
