If f(x)=(x-1)^3 and g(x)=(1-x^2), then f(g(-2)) =

A) -64
B) -8
C) 8
D) 64
E) 81

Work from the inside out.

g(-2)=1-(-2)^2=1-4=-3

OK, now put that into the f function:

f(-3)=(-3-1)^3=(-4)^3=-64
