I was wondering if the test difficulty between the PSAT (not the new one) and the SAT (not the new one) differs not only because of the length but also because of the content itself? For example, a lot of people claimed that the PSAT has easier math compared to the SAT?

I think the difficulty levels are comparable; old PSATs are a fine source for practice questions for the old SAT. Don’t try to score a whole test or anything—that won’t be helpful—but you can totally use the tests for practice.
