they always give you two little hitches or at least one, Yeah I got the ordered pair but I got so excited that I forgot to subtract one from the other and even if you do you might get caught up on the signs.

I would definitely say that drawing this out is the best method! Be wary of the way the question wants you to answer a-b…If the coordinates are (6,-3), make sure to do 6-(-3) and not 6-3! I almost caught myself doing that!

Final answer: 6-(-3) = 6 + 3 = 9
